Position Summary:

Performs and leads Quality Control Testing on products manufactured in the NW Plant. Successful candidates will be required to participate in a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screening per our Drug Free Workplace policy. Dependability for work schedule is crucial.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Tests concrete per ACI standards and records data
Knowledge of BMI Quality Control Plan and PCI MNL 116
Reviews production drawings, specifications and other documents and inspects products to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Functioning knowledge of WSDOT Oregon DOT Standard Specifications.
Signs off on products prior to shipment that they are in compliance with project requirements, and rejects products when they do not meet standards.
May be required to interface with owners inspectors to discuss QC and should be able to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner.
Works with Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Casting Leads and other QC Personnel to provide feedback on overall quality of all products and disseminates QC documentation.
Learns and applies safety rules and techniques.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Production Technician I performs various aerospace production processes including press, layup, deco, assembly, fill & fair, bonding, as well as hand trim and final assembly.  Production Technicians manufacture and assemble various components to construct commercial aircraft interiors.Production Technician I reports to the Production Supervisor.
