SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Applies protective coatings to contracted vessels and/or related equipment, as well as performing preparatory and clean-up work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Receive instructions, prints, and drawings for tasks specific to a job. Plan details of working procedures to accomplish task and plan out tool, material, and personnel requirements.
2. Performs sandblasting, painting, and other coating applications. Coating applications will be to MIL thickness specifications.
3. Assist in training unskilled or limited skills’ personnel.
4. Work at irregular shift times and weekends, when needed.
5. Access and recommend proper coating application materials. Test and record all pertinent information in regard to the coating application process.
6. Performs all functions in a careful and safe manner while always keeping an eye out for others in the area.
7. Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly. Ensure proper adherence to environmental considerations encountered during the sandblasting or application process.
8. Perform other company duties as assigned. Willing to be flexible in job duties.

Qualifications
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES:
• 3 or more years’ experience as a spray, brush, and roller painter, of epoxy and non-epoxy coatings in the marine/yacht industries. (Awlgrip, Alexseal, PPG, Pettit, etc.)
• Experience working with vinyl application.
• Experience in working in a physically demanding environment, confined spaces, working at heights, and usage of respiratory protective equipment, (respirator fit test and safety training required).
• Familiarity with a variety of sandblasting media and coating application materials.
• Must be able to use, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and power tools.
• Detail oriented while able to continuously improve efficiency
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

This is a permanent, full-time position for individuals who are eager to be on a Team that builds award-winning passenger ferries and research vessels. The Production/Craft worker will be involved in the manufacture of large boats (up to 140 feet in length) working under Craft Supervisors and Crew during boat construction with the main roles being:
A) to keep the boat and work areas clean, organized, and clear of debris/clutter and

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Follow Supervisor and Lead instructions.
2. Assist with Craft departments to keep equipment and work areas clean, organized and clear of clutter.
3. Supply crew with materials and equipment when needed.
4. Knowledge of basic hand tools and how to use them.
5. Report defective parts, tools or equipment malfunction.
6. Work 40 hours + per week with occasional overtime as needed. Typical work schedule is 4/10 hr. days.

SUMMARY:
The Cleaning Specialist and Cat Cuddler position at Cat Nap Inn helps keep our facility
clean. This includes vacuuming, laundry, dusting, filling and restocking, wet-mopping, cleaning suites in-between guests, cleaning litter pans and other cleaning tasks as assigned. This position also cares for our feline guests by giving individual love and attention customizing each guest’s vacation experience, and cares for cat parents by providing friendly service during check in and check out.
This position also could occasionally administer evening medications to our guests.
We are looking for a long-term employee, not just summer or holiday help.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working or volunteering in a vet clinic, boarding facility or animal shelter desired.
Ability to work alone, without supervision.
Reliability – as an extremely small facility, we will be counting on you to be here on your
scheduled days. We are not on the bus line you must have reliable transportation.
Punctual – We have a very tight schedule for feeding and medicating the cats. You must be on time. Somewhat flexible schedule-we are a seasonal business and may need extra help during the summer and around holidays or less help during quieter times.
