A bit about the job:

We are seeking a talented and high-achieving individual to join our team during this exciting early-stage growth period. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of Operations–including production, delivery, and account management.

You will also track and improve operational metrics; your goal is ultimately to drive throughput while upholding product quality, and managing costs. However, being part of a startup means there will be the opportunity to make an impact on all aspects of the business, including Strategy and Sales & Marketing, Product Design and Development.

The successful candidate will be able to take on greater responsibility over time. They will immediately be responsible for managing a team of two to four people or more.For someone looking for long-term growth with the company, there would eventually be an equity or profit sharing component to the compensation package.

A bit about your Responsibilities:

In charge of all daily operations of business including but not limited to:

• Production: Ensure that product is produced to quality standards,and orders fulfilled and delivered. This includes overseeing / managing production, packaging and delivery of products.

• Develop, document and continuously improve operational processes

• Take on role of Quality Assurance

• Sourcing and raw materials inventory management.

• Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors and existing customer accounts:

• Invoicing, A/R and A/P

• Merchandising and coordinating marketing events

• Help CEO build brand and corporate strategies

• Conduct analyses of sales data, as well as perform industry and qualitative research to help inform decisions

Qualifications
Your Qualifications:

• Must possess entrepreneurial spirit and desire to work in a hands-on, chaotic startup environment

• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a self-starter that is willing to do anything

• Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in the quality of his/her work

• Strong problem solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Apple & Microsoft Office applications and quickly learns new software

• Bachelor’s degree is preferable but not necessary

• Experience in operational setting, and/or consumer consumer goods or cosmetics industry a plus but not a requirement.
