Position Summary:
Assist customers by loading parcels into vehicles; maintain the outside area of the store, and return shopping carts to the inside of the store. Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
Essential Job Functions:
Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
Load customer parcels into vehicles
Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of parcel loading area and outside yard
Put away returned merchandise
Perform check stand housekeeping tasks
Clean spills in Central Checkout (CCK) area and clean/stock restrooms
Retrieve carts from parking lot
Comply with all corporate policies
Promote and follow company initiatives
Bag and carry out groceries for customers (where applicable)
Maintain flexibility to work any shift
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Ability to pass drug test
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Accuracy/attention to detail
