RE Sources is a non-profit environmental education and advocacy organization. Our mission is to promote sustainable communities and protect the health of northwestern Washington’s people and ecosystems through science, education, advocacy, and action. Our vision is for people in northwest Washington to live satisfying lives in accord with the ecosystems we depend on — generation after generation. Current programs include The RE Store, Clean Water, Clean Energy and Sustainable Schools. The primary goals of The RE Store are to divert as much reusable material as possible from the landfill and to build a culture of reuse in our community.

MARKETING & OUTREACH COORDINATOR The RE Store seeks a motivated intern who will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of marketing and outreach plans. This is a part-time, unpaid position for 10-15 hours per week on-site, twoquarter minimum. Position open until filled. Intern reports to the Marketing and Outreach Manager. Intern supervisor is glad to work with intern and scholastic advisor to meet coursework requirements. This year we have the opportunity to turn this into a work-study position for the right student.

QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: • Strong verbal and written communication skills; • Ability to work on multiple projects at any given time; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Proficiency in web and social media navigation; • Excellent interpersonal skills; • The ability to initiate and follow through on projects; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications; • Experience managing a Facebook business or non-profit page; • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment; • Ability to meet deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES The key responsibilities of the Marketing & Outreach Coordinator are to: • Maintain awareness of current events related to green building and creative reuse; • Maintain social media presence; • Create and review journalistic pieces; • Create and post web content, white papers, newsletter content, blog posts, etc.; • Create posters, pamphlets, banners, and other graphics materials in line with organizational brand standards; • Provide logistical and promotional support for RE Store events; • Engage in community outreach opportunities; • Solicit businesses for partnership opportunities; • Create store signage following branding standards;

• Track and report on analytics of various communication channels; • Develop social media platforms new to the organization; • Deepen engagement within existing social media platforms.

Quality Technician (Solar Module Manufacturing)

Quality Technician is responsible for the quality control of products and processes. Ensures and continuously improves the quality standards of the finished product. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform quality controls following the WI’s on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
• Monitor the variations in scraps products and raw materials (out of spec) that are rejected at the various steps of production flow. Make statistical evaluations and define corrective actions in collaboration with Management.
• Suggest improvements of the WI’s in order to reduce scraps and improve the performance of the finished product.
• Improve the capacity for in-depth analysis and improvement of the process.
• Continually support and train the Production staff on WI’s, quality and process issues in cooperation with Management.
• Create statistical analysis and reports on the quality of raw materials and finished product as required.
• Utilize and maintain the supplied instruments of measurement according to WI and safety standards.
• Monitor and suggest improvements to Management on the production recipes for the various steps of the process.
• Monitor and audit operations, suggesting improvements to the tools of quality control used in the production line (vision systems, EL test, Sun Simulator, HiPOT, etc.) and in the QA room.
• Manage, maintain, and calibrate the instruments of measurement in the production line and in the QA room.
• Prepare reference modules for the calibration of solar simulator in collaboration with PTs and TLs.
• Produce, in collaboration with the certified laboratories, “Master Modules” as required.
• Suggest measures that will improve the traceability of the finished product.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers when required.
• In collaboration Management, produce and maintain all documentation required for the Quality manual in respecting the ISO standards.
• Act as a driving force for continual improvement.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned to support the Quality Manager.

• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Engineers, other Designers, and Project Managers to resolve design issues, develop fabrication methods, and issue construction documents.

• Read and interpret contract drawings and specifications to determine project requirements and to establish where potential conflicts may adversely impact the project.

• Perform standardized calculations under direction from the Engineering group.

• Complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget and schedule; review drawings for completeness and accuracy.

• Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to improve the design and construction process.

• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital expenditures. Prepares monthly balance sheets, profit and loss statements, job costs and other reports and ratio analyses to summarize current and projected company financial position in a timely manner.
Maintains relationships and communications as necessary between the Company and its bank regarding financial condition, credit lines, loan covenants and other key issues.
Audits contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement including monthly billings/invoicing, accounts receivable, etc.
Responsible for satisfactory completion of Company’s annual audit.
Establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
Devises and implements system for general accounting.
Acts as primary contact with software vendor. Coordinates training and modifications to software program.
Performs other duties as assigned.
