Job Description The Project X-it Program Specialist will help develop and pilot a project focused on increasing the financial resiliency in households of low-income families enrolled in Early Learning and Family Services programs. Through assessment, training, and mentorship, these families will receive individualized financial literacy education and support with a goal of reducing and removing barriers to financial stability. Families that complete the program will be eligible to receive financial contributions to Individual Savings Accounts and Child Savings Accounts. By providing focused financial education to families enrolled in our programs through training, curriculum, mentorship and peer support, we will assist these families in taking the first steps toward ending the cycle of poverty.

Job Description Family Health Associates is currently hiring for a Full-time Medical Assistant or LPN. Must be available one evening per week.

Essential Functions: The MA-C/ LPN position provides clinical support for Family Care Network’s physicians, patients and staff. We are looking for a qualified, motivated individual with a passion for family medicine who can:

Communicate effectively
Provide excellent customer service
Effectively manage patient flow
Utilize clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to deliver safe, effective and therapeutic patient care
Respond to patient phone messages and answer questions within appropriate scope of practice and/or as directed by provider
Process requests, refills and referrals in a timely manner
Accurately enter and review patient data in the EMR
Prioritize and multitask on multiple projects with frequent interruptions

Qualifications Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrated knowledge of clinical and medical office practices
Ability to establish lasting and effective employee relationships in a team environment
Proficiency using standard computer and office equipment
Good spelling, grammar, typing, data entry, and phone skills
Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
Ability to adapt to process and procedure changes
Ability to thrive and grow in a learning environment
Previous medical office experience
Phone triage experience a plus
Required Education: Completion of accredited LPN OR Medical Assistant program.

Required Licensure: Current Washington State Certification as LPN OR MA-C
