Position Seasonal Production – Handbook & Cover Processor

Job Description Premier Agendas, a division of School Specialty, is now hiring seasonal associates. Join Premier Agendas’ Art Prep department as a Production Specialist and experience the fast-paced world of publishing! As a seasonal associate, you will work closely with our Art Prep Specialists and Supervisor to process client-submitted artwork to create a print-ready production PDF. We have rigid internal standards, so attention to detail is a must!
Handbook Processing/Typesetting: Format client-submitted handbook/text artwork for print. Candidate is comfortable on a Macintosh platform, experienced in Microsoft Word, and has a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
Cover Processing: Formats client-submitted cover artwork for print. Candidate is familiar with Macintosh platform and has a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Macintosh platform
• Ability to adhere to strict project deadlines
• Able to work overtime
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to problem solve based on limited information
• Able to adjust to rapidly changing deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience working in a custom databaseMust be at least 17 years of age to apply. No phone calls, please.
