|Job Description||LWC is hiring an on-call Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.). The C.N.A. is responsible for assisting residents of the Alabama Assisted Living Facility. This position is on-call and may provide overnight supervision of residential clients including assistance with transferring and toileting. Schedules/shifts may include evenings and/or weekends.|
At least a High School Diploma plus experience in work with special needs populations; Certified Nursing Assistant, AA or BA in Human Services related discipline preferred; Good organizational skills; Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks; Ability to work cooperatively in a team approach; Ability to apply a Recovery based approach and to apply clinical knowledge; Good verbal and written communication skills; Basic computer skills; Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion; Visual and auditory skills required to communicate, to ensure and deliver client care, and to provide documentation of care; Requires frequent standing, bending at the knees and waist, kneeling and reaching; Requires frequent walking to accomplish tasks; Requires ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to obtain Department of Health Agency Affiliated Counselor license, First Aid/CPR, and successful completion of Boarding Home training requirements (WAC 388-112). Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and ability to be covered by LWC insurance carrier. Employment is contingent on successful fingerprint background check.
