Position Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Description LWC is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide services to residents with serious and persistent mental illness at the Alabama St. Assisted Living Facility (ALF) in accordance with WAC 388-78A (Boarding Home Rules) and WAC 246-841-400 (Standards of Practice for Nursing Assistants).  This schedule may include some overnight (NOC), evening and weekend shifts.
Qualification Minimum Qualifications:  Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School diploma or GED.  Successful completion of a WA State approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements.  Must have a current Washington State Nursing Assistant- Certified credential in good standing.  Experience working with individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness preferred.  Good organizational skills.  Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.  Ability to work cooperatively in a team approach.  Ability to apply a Recovery based approach.  Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion. Good interpersonal relations skills; ability to work with difficult clients.  Good verbal and written communication skills; visual and auditory skills required to communicate, ensure, and deliver client care and provide legal documentation of care.  Basic computer skills.  Requires frequent standing, bending at the knees and waist, kneeling and reaching; Requires frequent walking to accomplish tasks; Requires ability to lift 50 pounds. Employment contingent on successful background check.


$14.50/hr-$22.78/hr, DOE
